Born in Louiseville, she obtained a Bachelor's degree in Microbiology at the University of Montreal in 1990, followed by a Doctorate in Dentistry from Laval University in Quebec City in 1994. It is in Louiseville that she chose to practice her art, within the family business. In order to always remain at the forefront of knowledge and techniques, Marie-Claude Chaput has followed numerous training courses:

- orthodontics and dentofacial orthopedics at the International Dental Institute

- implant-supported prosthetic rehabilitation at the Canadian Implantology Institute

- occlusion, cranio-mandibular disorders and oral rehabilitation at the Institut Dentaire Alain Landry

- Dr. John Kois' comprehensive prosthodontic program at the Kois Center in Seattle, Washington.

- computer-assisted restoration program (CEREC technology) at the Great Lakes Education Center in Detroit, Michigan.
