Periodontist for more than 30 years. His career has led him to teach theory and practice at the Universities of Montreal and McGill and to give lectures in periodontics and dental implantology across Canada.

Michel M. Couture graduated from the Faculty of Dentistry of the University of Montreal in 1983. In 1987, he then completed his postgraduate studies in periodontics at the University of Toronto, the first university in North America to be involved in implant dentistry. He also did postgraduate studies in management and finance. He also holds an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University in Chicago.
